Terms of service

Pinixis is operated by APIXIS.DEV LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("Pinixis," "we"). By creating an account or buying anything on Pinixis, you agree to these terms.

Accounts

You need an account to request a build, buy or sell. Keep your login email secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be 18 or older.

Custom builds

• Requesting a quote is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
• Quotes are valid for 14 days and cover the machine, shipping to your door, and, for US deliveries, import duties.
• Accepting a quote requires a deposit of 30% of the quoted price. Machines are made to order, so the deposit is non-refundable once paid.
• When your machine is finished we'll ask for the remaining 70%. It ships after the balance is paid. If the balance isn't paid within 30 days of our request, we may cancel the order, keep the deposit, and resell the machine.
• Lead times are estimates. Hand-built machines can vary slightly from renderings in finish, color and materials.
• Outside the US, import duties, taxes and customs fees in your country are your responsibility and are paid on delivery.
• Any damage in transit must be reported within 7 days of delivery with photos so we can file a claim.

Your designs

You confirm that any artwork, characters, logos or names you ask us to use are your own or that you have permission to use them. We may decline or change designs that appear to use someone else's brand or copyrighted material. You agree to cover any costs arising from a claim that your requested design infringes someone else's rights.

Marketplace

• Items in the marketplace are sold by independent sellers, not by Pinixis. The seller is responsible for their item's description, condition, safety, shipping and returns.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Sellers are paid through Stripe Connect and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.
• Pinixis charges sellers a 5% commission on each sale, and the card processing fee is deducted from the seller's share.
• Prohibited: counterfeit or unlicensed branded items, recalled products, weapons, adult items, and anything illegal to sell or ship. Children's toys must meet safety rules in the buyer's country. We may remove listings and close shops that break these rules.

Apixis avatars and wallets

Sellers may receive an Apixis avatar agent and Apixis wallet. These are governed by Apixis terms. Ixis is not accepted for purchases on Pinixis at this time.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the order involved. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Peoria County, Illinois, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
